Can you give me some advice?
My son is Dec05 boy who is studying K2 now. As he is a super small boy, I am worried that he may not be able to catch up with the others in terms of self-discipline, emotion development , skills of taking care of himself...etc. ( he is quite ok in academic aspects esp English n Maths are quite good ). Talked with his class teacher, it is not advised to repeat K2. However, I am afraid he is too small n right not too not competitive enough to get a place in some popular DSS opr private primary school. Thus, right now, I have got a place for repeating K2 in Learning Habitat am class n going to take an interview in Keenmind for a K3 seat. What can I do? I have four options :
1. Repeat K2 in a new kindergarten
2. promoted to K3 in a new kinder
3. Stay in the existing kinder as a K3 student but do not take the gov't enrollment in september. Meanwhile, apply for soe targeted Dss or private schools. If my son failed all the application, then repeat K3 in the old kinder. If my son succeeded in getting a place in any targeted schools , then go ahead.
4. Do nothing. Stay at the old school. Appy for the DSS n private school , at the meantime, join the gov't enrollment as usual....
Can anybody help? I have to make decision b4 next Monday, the deadline for the K2 seat in LH...
THanks a billion! |
