Hi lovelycat, no I am not, just ordinary.  So, don't worry, they will call you.  I never expect them to call but I think more will be called after June 5th.  Best of luck!

No, I didn't coz I know there are many waitlistings-several hundreds.  Basically, I just gave up totally.

我今朝都收到電話.

依家唔知簡真光定港同?有無人知邊間程度深啲?因為阿仔成日話啲功課好淺,我買咗啲一年級嘅補充練習比佢做,佢差唔多全部都識.

我怕如果太易,佢會自已為是,越嚟越懶!

As I know, True Light and HKUGA ares two different kind of schools. True light is more like a local school. HKUGA has more projects and the learning methods is more lively. And also, you should consider the location. Do you want your girl to study in a girl scoool or co-ed school? If you have time, go to the school, wait until the pick up time, talk to some of the moms to get more opinion.

Or check in the web first, you should get some ideas as well.

我個係仔,但係仲有個女今年k2.

其實到依家我都唔知活動教學同傳統邊隻啱我個仔多啲!

Your son should be a smart boy, since he enjoys study. HKGUA can make him more well-balanced.
By the way, when my son is having the piano lesson, I had a chance to talk to a Mom from True Light. She really regreted that she let his son to study in True Light. It is because it is a "girl" school, the boy does not enjoy it in the last 2 years, you can imagine he will not have many friends, and nobody wanted to group with him for the assignments. And then the girls are smarter than the boys at this age. Therfore the academic result for him is just average, and he needs to find a secondary school now, it is a big problem for the boy. Since your kid is a boy, I do not think you should go to True Light at all. Go to the HKUGA, it is a good school, the task and the aim is really good, the school jusy need sometime to adjust and for improvement.
