Any moms have submitted application to HKUGA?  Did you also include a profile or really just the application form?  You submitted it personally or by post?  Thanks.

They are not using HKUGA as a short form of their school name but a proper one -  HKUGA Primary School （港大同學會小學）.

However, only the alphabets of HKUGA stands for "Hong Kong University Graduates Association".

You really think so??    I do prepare a profile but not a very outstanding one.  Just gather all the information in a plastic folder.  According to what i heard from the seminar, it is also ok for parents not to enclose any profile.  They said to accept the profile from parents is only to make them feel more comforatble.  Hope what she said is true, otherwise, it is kind of unfair to those parent who just submit the application form.  They said they will interview ALL the children who have submitted the application.

I just think that there is so many applicatins. If u are the principle when u see a impressive profile u will or will not have a good impression.
I don't want to say that is unfair.
Interview is sometimes boring, something impressive can catch people's eye.

That's only my personal opinion.

I only submit the application 2 years ago. Finally, I give up the offer because of personal reasons.

I think it is a good school.

Yes, you are right..in fact just because i know you are right..i'm starting to worry if my profile is good enought to catch the attention from principal      I didn't attach any "life photos" to the profile as it is hard to choose and to put in a proper sequence.  Perhaps i should admit I was too lazy to start the preparation earlier   :cry:

Yes, if we confirm to accpet the acceptance from HKUGA, we need to give up the 津校.

Not too late. Do it now and submit it as a supplementary. No problem. The clerk in the office will attach the supplementary with your application.
If u are worry submit it personally and tell her directly.

Wondering if an application letter is still necessary as we have already put the reasons why we would like to let our child stuying in that school in the application form.   Is it a bit clumsy to repeat the same content in the letter??

My suggestion:
Tell your child more about the school. Then,
Let your child draw a picture/ some messages to present why she/he want to study in HKUGA.

You really don't have to worry about the quality of your profile, it doesn't really help much at all.  What "chong"'s heard from the seminar is true.  

Your kid's interview performance is critical.

It's secondary is scheduled to open in Sep 05. All grades of  HKUGAPS' students are possible to be admitted to HKUGA College.
