三位都是我尊敬的綱友，對不起，又想唱唱反調:

教師都係人①著！何解他們要比其他人更高貴？警察都有壞人啦！

我有不是中學同學都當老師(CM)，每次舊同學聚會，他們都紿我一強烈感覺：和5年前、十年前、十五年前，現在二十年有多了，分別不大！不是外貌財富，而是見識、行為，談吐，尤其對人情世故的了解。他們真的是從沒離開過學校一樣。我從不和他們談教育子女的方法，甚至不敢開口要幫忙拉關係。(其實很怕兒子入讀他們執教的學校！)

對社會冇認識，是一般我見教師的普遍現象像。GM又有點不同(衹是有點)。幸好近年所見的年輕教師，情況較佳。

其實我祇想說：入世的老師要比活在象牙塔的老師好！有感而發。經營淫窟的，殺人放火的，自有法律制裁。恰巧他們是教師吧！

You seem misunderstood.  The focus of this quote is not because of their status 更高貴 but the areas of self control and self discipline.  Of course, they are also human beings with lots of weaknesses like everybody but the point is that they are entitled to the social status with general respects from the society (no matter you agree or not) which attributable to their educations and job position.  With general respects from the society, their self discipline, ethical behaviour and social responsibility should be relatively greater and normally more demanding from the citizens.  Reality will be different perhaps but this would be the basic requirements from the society for a model of principal.  Therefore, unlike as policemen or the class prefect who will receive double penalty while being sentenced (it sounds too serious to a class perfect!), any crime being committed by the principal will attract more attention and blames from the society.

In respect of the teachers’ narrow minded, it might be your case that come across with but should not apply to all.   Narrow-minded or see no further from the well mainly depended on individual disposition but not the one’s job nature.  As I do not know Chinese typing, hope you will understand my English writing.  

Regarding the burnt, if you would like to remind me about the school name, I thank you in advance because I can remember it but just do not want to quote it in the forum.  If not for the issue of school name, please let me know more about it.

p.s. envy about you always can 唱唱反調.  It maybe my bad time management and is difficult to squeeze time for posting messages currently but only reading sometimes.

我對教師的要求並不高，光是看看他們的代表，就知有多少料子。但我希望他們最少保持其職業道德，起码在行為上為學生提供好榜樣。

Thanks for your response. To the first point, I can't say anymore. As you said, it's really point of view.

For the second, it's not just coincidence. May be I have too many narrow-minded classmates. But the fact is that, it is really due to their job environment. Most of them never leave the school. That's why I said GM is a little bit better than those CM.

Liberal Studies (通識) becomes the core subject within a few years, while I see this should not be a subject like history or geography which could be injected directly. It requires exactly an open mind teacher to tell the students how to disslove different categories of knowledge.

The aim of this subject should be in helping students understanding more practically in the reality. While it may be an inherent deficiency to the teachers since they are lack of social experience (or commercial)!

Hope you understand my english! Chinese typing is time consuming to me.

PS: I also wonder why my boss doesn't fry me yet!
