I called today and my kid is not on the list for 2nd interview.

I'm very happy that I just called the school my son has the chance of second interview!(from the conversation I believe they has more than 300 candidate for 2nd interview).The date will be next Thursday. Does any parents know what will they test?

I am very happy that my son has second interview too.  More than 300?  It was mentioned in the parents' talk that there is only 300 shortlisted.

我那傻小子竟然有得2nd in!!!!
當初原本一心在原校就讀,報兩間名校只是志在參與,結果真是出人意料.記得小拔面試只是我老公帶,孩子回來後卻十問九不知,我都預左,但竟然....
我剛剛通知老公,他說收到信後要把他鑲起來,証明他曾經有2nd in,因為最後要考入就不能憑運氣,我說既然大家睇法一樣(考唔到),同埋因為宗教,學費的因素,我們應會選擇津校,就無謂浪費時間精力,,但他卻說不覺辛苦,我不去由我,他會照帶孩子去看看,男人真是很無謂!
今次報學校真讓我深切體會到:財不入急門!

I also call school today and luckily, my son also have a chance to have 2nd interview. Mine is 10/dec, 10:45a.m.. I asked the girl if parents need to interview, she just simply said the parents have to bring the children. No more details. I believe we have to wait for the letter.

In fact, there were kids attending 2 interviews, a music test and a sport test last year. However, please see below from dbs web site:-

"2005-2006年度報考小學一年級有關資料:
1. 2005年度的小一共有5班，每班30人。
2. 每位考生將獲邀請參加第一次面試，校方將挑選300人參加第二次面試。
3. 家長不用會見校長。
4. 考生只需參加面試，並無其他能力測試。(包括體育及音樂) ..."

Glad that no need to interview the parents. My son's interview will also be on Thurday early morning.
