I also got the acceptance letter yesterday (i..e 8.1.05) (funny that it is the least prepared one and got accepted) and got some questions:

1.  Can I still enter the lucky draw after accepting APS?

2. Most comment about this school is quite good.  However, since the school is so small (I would say tiny), is their sport performance bad??  Has it got any extra-currricular ctivities in sports?

3. Since it is a traditoional big class school (42 students in each class), will student got enough attention?

4. Is the homework workoad really so heavy that students have little time for outside activities?

5. How are the teachers?  Old and traditional ?  Enthusiastic?  I think teachers are extremely important.  It leaves permanent marks on their mind.

Grateful if existing or to-be APS parent can advise.

I am in the same situation with 4R (accepted by SFA & APS).  I am a full time housewife.  My boy is a gift and talent in music.

If study in SFA, it's gift education is good for him.  And it is an English Primary School.  However, the secondary school net is not good enough.

If study in APS, it's music education is excellent and my son is really into music, both violin and piano.  He can get great sense of achievement in such learning environment.  The secondary school net is good too.  However, it is not an English Primary School.

How to choose between SFA and APS?  I like both of them.

Can you all give me some advice and share your experience?

Good that you got acceptance for both school.  As what you mentioned, I think you are having a delinma to go APS or SF.  
I think SF is rather a good school esp with good english standard.  But it is also important to have an all-rounded education for your child.  Well, I have very little information of Sf, only hearing not experience.  
However, my experience with APS is quite good so far.  I was also worry about their english standard as it is not a english primary school.  I felt a bit weired in the beginning to read the notice in chinese and hearing my girl saying something really "Chinese" like lunch, worksheet, perfect.  But I think their english is not bad as their result of entering english secondary is so high.  
When I was asked advice of this school, I always remind the parents whether they want to invest and spend time on music as the school really look at your interest and development of this field.  There is no problem for your child and I think APS would provide better chance for your child.
From what I hear and see from the parents that I know, their children are happy going to school.  I personally think their teachers and staff are friendly and helpful.

I think most important at all is to know about the character of your child and find the one which suit him/her.  Hope you make a right decision for your child!
