ICMS vs IMS vs woodland Monterssori

which one have a stronger Chinese elements? As saw in ICMS website, graduates have good primary schools including local one. So is ICMS better in terms of getting into local and international primary schools

As far as I know and experienced:

ICMS (Tin Hau) - quite commercial, small campus

IMS - strong Chinese curriculum (taught traditional Chinese characters in Mandarin), nice campus

Woodland - good reputation on their Montessori programme

I have toured all 3, but that was 5 or 6 years ago.  My son was at ICMS for a term.

ICMS - very very commercial.  I pulled him out after one term.  

IMS - we even paid the debenture already.  A true Montessori school in every way.  Drawback -  學校是全港最有規模的montessori, 有時d師資未必個個都咁好.  不過間間學校都會有咁情況.

Woodland - beware and ask if the teacher in EVERY class holds a Montessori license.  When I went and asked a few years back, it was not the case.

I've been looking into these schools too.

Icms not considered, all cms I heard are the same- very commercial.

Just visited ims this morning, only one ami teacher in each classroom(the English speaking one). 25 students to 2 (casa) or 3 (foundation) adults. You can imagine how crowded it is. The problem that really caught my attention is how the mandarin teachers interact with the children might go very contradict to the Montessori approach, though they claim they have provided training to the teachers. Today when we were observing outside the classroom, a mandarin teacher ordered a student to come in to the classroom in a very mean way while all parents are standing there observing their class. =0= I really doubt how "good" this school could be.

I'm gonna visit dms and woodland soon. Can share later. But I really encourage you to pay a visit to the schools you're interested. That's the best way to know more about a school.  I do the same before I submit each application.

Thanks all for the advice. Visited ICMS last weekend and found its not superior to Woodland. While teachers in Woodland Montessori are loving and experienced as we observed over past 1+ years, so we decided to stick to Woodland for nursery.
