請問私小交了留位費又去大抽獎會不會被私小取消學位

今天接到教統局的信,說若選擇統一派位便會將名單送往私小,請問私小可否取消已交了留位費的學位?

唔會,不過佢哋都會double check你係唔係會取消.

如果私小一早要你簽左同意信答應唔再申請統一派位，而你仍然繼續申請，就會取消你個位，已交了的留位費都會被沒收，Raimondi就肯定會咁做，好多人因此兩頭唔到岸。

如果唔信，可問私小，請三思！

According to the 2004 report from EMB, there were 3994 out of 4857 students who were accepted by private primary school, also participated in the central allocation scheme.  1586 out of the 3994 children gave up the central allocation after receiving affirmation letter from EMB. => Over 50% students with private primary school seats took part in the central allocation.

I believe it depends on which private schools would send their list to EMB, of course famous private schools will do so to protect themselves (to ensure that your child will really study their schools).

Dear Wetfoot,
I think you really don't understand what I am talking/asking about. I just query what is the purpose of asking the parents to give up the chance of lucky draw, or if they don't give up how can EMB "punish" them. If the parents are considerate, like me, they will surely give up the chance automatically once they've registered the private school. ( No need to send me the letter, EMB can know my decision right after 16/1). I just want to say that they should concentrate on building up a fair system instead of sending me the threatening letter and doing this kind of stupid survey!!! BTW, do you agree that every school has its own selection interview is fair? To some extent it is, at least better than counting the relationship with the school, right? If every school has their own selection interview, I will not attend every school's interview but only choose the schools that my son is up to that standard, just like what I choose the private schools. What I am expecting is a fair system, efficient and effective Gov't / EMB and more understanding parents. One more point, as a parent, consider more than one school is not doing something wrong.

我不認識教統局的人，但我知道，教統局從未打算"懲罰"任何人，做那麼多事只是因為要執行法律，法例規定所有適齡兒童必須入學，為確保所有適齡兒童有書讀，教育統籌局需要當上統籌的角色，因此所有學校包括私小都要匯報已收取的學生名單，所有未穫收取的學生都必須參加統一派位，教統局沒有阻止已穫收取的學生再參加統一派位，但因為每學生只能保留一個位，所以她必須提醒仍參加統一派位的家長他們會面對甚麼情況，及有責任把家長們的決定通知有關的私校，以使私校能盡早騰出學位去收其他學生而不會浪費了。

已穫收取的學生家長應早在十二月已收到教統局的信，要求回應是否繼續參加統一派位，如果當時已回答說不參加，就不會再在一月收到信了，寄信給家長是要確定所有家長都了解情況，否則有些無賴家長可能會借詞說教統局沒足夠指引令他們失去了選擇的機會。個人覺得這是必須的，因為現今香港充滿了無賴一族。

很多家長強烈反對考試，對他們來說，最好是所有學校任揀又一路讀到大學都不須考試就可畢業，對於子女是否真的學有所成就不加理會，古語有謂：「玉不琢不成器」，孩子不經過鍛練又怎能成長？個人認為，適量的考試是需要的，考試是要來公平地評核學生是否已達到指定學術水準，要公平，就應該恢復升中試，如果有升中試，家長們就不會如此計較入甚麼小學，只要升中試考得好，就不怕入不到理想的中學。有些人推說考試令學生一試定生死只是藉口，會考考不到好成績的學生不是可再重讀重考嗎？

現今的人質素每況愈下，就是少了競爭，少了壓力，以致些少壓力也受不了。社會是很現實的，縱使你有甚麼大學文憑，若不能在壓力下生存，不能勝任工作，又怎可以在社會上立足？到頭來就把所有責任推卸到政府處而不自我檢討，事事依賴，繁榮盛世並不是必然的，以前的人努力不懈，香港才有進步，現在全球一體化，競爭不是只在香港，而是來自全球，只消兩三年，不自愛的香港人便會被淘汰了。
