小兒當年面試有考他砌圖､用英文問他喜歡什麼顏色(當然要用英文回答啦)､另外考一些基本常識等﹐我們沒有特別訓練他的。其實好睇小朋友面試時的表現﹐還有一定要回答老師所問的問題和要有禮貌等。

你好! 我仔仔也是這間學校的小一生, 我本人覺得這間學校對於新生適應期下了很多功夫, 所以由開學至今我非常滿意學校的一切安排, 至於學術方面從高年級媽咪得知課程會由淺入深去到三年班會開始比較吃力, 暫時上學期除了英文科之外全部都是用中文課本, 但到下學期常識和數學都會漸漸轉用英文, 一個星期有一次英默及中默, 至於assignment並非常常要做的.

雖然數學是用中文書﹐但老師會另外比啲中文和英文的工作紙給他們做﹐要他們同時用英文的寫法都懂得做。致於General Studies 呢上學期會有一本英文和一本中文給他們適應﹐但下學期開始只有英文的。
他們的工課不算多。但上學期的測驗就有三次啦﹗
我想肥仔媽咪會對這校理解多些﹐因為她識得高班的家長。

Which level does your child study?  Do you think that the teachers there are supportive and love students?  Is the school very strict on students' conduct and academic performance?  When compared to St. Joseph Primary School, is it easier to study?  Is it very difficult to get enrolled?  Is it easier for born Catholic to get enrolled?  Thanks a lot.

我仔仔在整個幼稚園過程中常常把不想返學這句掛在口中所以在小一開學前我也很擔心他是否能適應, 但自家長會內校長介紹小一的老師是特別挑選和很有經驗的並且會幫助我們的小朋友慢慢適應我才較為安心, 到開學後頭個半月都是採用活動教學並不需要小朋友坐定定的上堂, 待他們逐漸熟習環境才收緊他們的行為, 我仔仔上了小學反而從未試過說不想返學還說很喜歡老師和同學. 不過這間始終是傳統的小學, 聽仔仔回來講無論小息或到洗手間都要很守規矩, 行路時踏得大聲都會被老師鬧的.

我們沒有宗教信仰的﹐小兒的成績暫時都是中上啦﹗
我曾經和小兒說笑﹐叫他轉一間近屋企的學校好不好﹐但他一口就拒絶了﹐他說很喜歡這裏的老師和同學。
他們頑皮或上堂不留心才會給老師訓話。
我不認識st. Joseph 的家長﹐所以不能給意見。

May I ask whether they have any questions which have to be answer by Mandarin due my son is not very good in Mandarin but he don't have any problem about English.
Are they like to choose the kids who they are good in English speaking first?

當然是啦！我兒子當年面試沒有考普通話的。

I called for inquiring the details of application in last Oct.  The staff replied they only accepted the applications for the boys born between Sept 98 to Aug 99.  

My son is Nov's boy.  Perhaps, I should apply in Oct of this year.

That's mean ur son are still studing in K2 this year or K3. Or I wonder whether u will studing in P1 in one of the school n apply for this year again in Raimondi?But anyway, anyone know whether they wl accept the majority of P6 students back to F1 in their secondary school?

首先妳要清楚該校的教學理念啦﹐妳要了解自個小朋友的性恪和喜好等等﹐這些都是當年有問的問題﹐今年唔知會唔會一様呢！

My son applied this school on last Sept and the interview is quite easy. First, all three of us went in the classroom, the techer asked the after school life of my son, eg whose used to take care of him, what he usually do after school ? Then my husband went outside and the teacher gave a simple puzzle for my son to play. It last for fifteen minutes all by Cantonese.

The whole process is quite easy and relax.

My son is K3.  I am still planning what he has to do in the next school year.  It's possible to study in an international school for one year and reapply private and DSS schools.

If the acceptance rate for entering their secondary is so low, I am afraid we have to suffer again.  Parents and children are getting tired in the process of appyling schools, especially when they are rejected.
