NIS Offer

My boy has got an AM offer. I am so happy coz I like the school a lot. The school is homey and teaching staff are all friendly. Most importantly, I want my child to be brought up by God's teaching.

Are there any other parents here who have got an offer ? Would love to have some sharing together. One thing that concerns me is the chance of getting a place in the primary. Any sharing on this? Of course, I will also check with the school later.

I have the same concern as u
As i read from some previous threads that not all k2 kids can go to y1

You said boys? Twins??  Yes, there is an old post saying only 50% of the kids can get into primary but some said most of them will have a Y1 offer. My husband's worry is there is no secondary. As for me, I don't quite concern about secondary coz I believe a kid can excel anywhere with a good foundation. But if he cannot get to an IS primary, that will be a problem as he may have a hard time bridging to a local school.....

I think exactly as u！ i concern about primary school only at this moment

For this year, there are approx 45 kids in kindergarten and only 25 kids can go to primary. yes, only 50% can go to primary.

But you can imagine some kids will apply through train schools and reject offer. at the end probably more than 25 kids can get in. but do think of a back up plan.
