Anyone had received invitation notification for student? Their email indicates that it would be sent out in December.

I think they invite most applicants? A few of my friends just got invitations too.

I have completed the parents meeting on middle of November, but why they ask again in the email ? Is there is 2 parents meetings have to attend ?

We attended interview last year (rejected, like most). But in hindsight, I can give you some tips.

Last year, they received 600 applications and interviewed about 500, all on Saturdays. I have no idea how they screened out the 100 as this include one of my friend whose family and child background are both better than me.

They said they will group those born in same month together, to be fair.

I know a girl who got in. She is from a very wealthy family and she herself is also very good in all aspects. I also know anothet girl who is at least as good, but from middle class, she got rejected.

The 8 or 9 pages questionnaire is extremely important. To "ordinary" applicants like me and most of you (no offense), your kid needs to show something that just clearly stand out among others, if the answers in your questionnaires cannot impress the school.

I wonder how can the Questionaire impressed the examiners, do they prefer to be answered in English to Chinese?
