I have different point of view from you. I was graduated in DGS (Secondary School Only). A lot of my schoolmates are come from DGJS. Most of them are the style of "play hard, work hard". I will say SPCC is a very tradtiional school but defintely not DGJS. You cannot use DGJS to compare with TSL, GH, etc as they are not in the same band.
Quote from my daughter's teacher, they said DGJS has the best curriculum in HK, it is better than SPCC, then SPCC is better than DBS. DGJS will not teach one level higher, they will teach according to their grade, step by step. That makes girls easier to absorb "real" knowledge. For some other global/famous school, their examination will cover the area that are not taught by school. They expect their parent will hire tutor to teach them..
