SFA accepted letter had comment ?

Pls also be informed that .........According to the interview, your child has been accepted for being proficient in languages and possesing in high potential in receiving the Gifted Education in our school.  As for the scopr of IT education, its advisable for her to be trained and well-equipped with adequate facilities of computer..........

Is all accepted letter had the same wording ??
or really my daughter are good at "language " ??
Did other ppl comment ralking abt math/chinese ??

Yes, the wording "gifted education" just make you have a feeling, oh my daughter is really better than others...
but i still under considersation. I will pay $1000 at this moment

how abt other parents???

gifted都唔一定係better既, gifted child有好多麻煩野.  聰明就夠了.  SFA 有gifted education 比 gifted child, 佢地面試時, 大約都揀到D係gifted架, 所以咁寫囉, 我又無諗SFA咁寫係咪個囡BETTER THAN OTHERS喎, 係就DGS & SPCC會收啦, 學校會揀自己教得好&教得黎既學生.  何必咁執著封信點寫呢.

TSL同SFA都收左, 依家15,16仲考慮緊, 金錢亦係重要考慮因素之一, 因為唔係有錢人家....兩間都係好學校....因為唔想浪費無謂留位錢, 用果1仟幾佰可以買多幾本書比小朋友!

The content of SFA acceptance letter is just the same as last year. So I would say this is the standard acceptance letter for everyone.

聖芳濟各所選的不一定是資優. 正如聖保羅男女或女拔所選的也不一定是資優. 每間學校收生準則也不同.

但無可否認, 聖芳濟各在面試上很注重學術. 資優與否太早定論. 亦不能在面試裡便能肯定, 但可以說聖芳濟各所選的孩子, 在學術上水平上一定也不會太差的. 因為該校教得深, 不易讀, 若孩子沒一定水平, 學校只會自找麻煩.

當然不是每一個被取綠的會是資優, 據聞SFA收左300多人, 點會有咁多孩子是資優呢?  不過佢地HIGHLIGHT資優教育, 當然會PICK左D資優出來, even D小朋友係唔識答D問題.  
有經驗既老師, 教育人員&社工, 快則只須5-10分鐘就能初步看到小朋友是否資優.  不過資優邊方面&IQ幾多就真係要搵時間去CHECK.

我識有2-3個資優小朋友係考唔到DGS(早幾年), 所以我話資優唔一定係好 &唔一定路路暢通, 反而係更須要更多既協助&輔導.  Appreciate 有學校係有gifted education, 對資優小朋友往後既學習更體貼&體諒, 能夠協助佢地發揮所長.
