Is your girl with ESF P1 at the moment?

ESF and MCS are very different schools, MCS is local elite school, use more traditional teaching method, students can learn better Chinese, culture is local too.  It is still free of charge this year.

ESF is using international teaching method, western culture, less Chinese.  The cost is $4xxx and it continues to increase uptil secondary.

So what do you prefer? I am also interested to ask for your opinion.

Hi,
I would like to share with my opinion here.  I more like the international school than traditional school.  First, pls do not consider the school fee.  For studing in elite class, they will have to face pressure.  There is a point that those can go to the MCS may not be those intellengent girl.  It's hard for them.  In other word, English standard must better than in an international school.  You can widen your mind and a good base for your study in foreign country.

On average, English of kids in ESF is better than in local elite schools,  a principal told me that English of kids from elite schools like MCS is still not comparable to that of kids from ESF.  However, for Chinese, it is of course the other way round.  So, give and take.
