My daughter was born in late Nov. She was still 4+ years old when she attended various interviews last Oct/Nov. She got offers from DGJS, St. Stephen P.S, etc .... Hope this helps!

Dear cc5,

From your previous posts, it is seemd that you have one kid studing in SPCC Pri School while another kid is studying in CCKG, is it right?  

Would you mind share your experience and teaching way to teach your kid please?  Besides, would you mind sharing some information to us for reference such as

1) Are you full-time mami?  (as some friends said that dgjs will add bonus to full-time mami)

2) Good academic / professional background
etc.

For the first tier primary school, only SPCC will not take "small boy/girl" (born on or after Oct).  Other such as DBS, DGS and SSCPP etc purely depends on interview performance regardless of your age.

Really?  SPCC will not take any kid born in Oct.  Oh! my daughter is small bb.   That meant she is no chance in upcoming P1 interview (2012-13).  So sad!

As what I heard from previous years, the chance is so limit (I did not heard anyone success actually).  Even though you have the 2nd interview chance, the headmistress will ask you to come back again next year if she think your child is suitable for the school.  I know some kids with both parent are alumni and study in "Bo X Kindergarten", they choose to let the child to repeat in K2 in order to have more chance to get in SPCC.

我小朋友NOV.細B,報8間收6間1間等結果,細B小朋友一樣有好多學校喜歡,要對小朋友有信心。

我囝囝喺無報面試班,但其他興趣班就有好幾個,e.g:朗誦比賽(給孩子壯膽) 畫畫班(專注耐性) 彈琴唱歌(修養) 遊水踢波(健體靈活d) ,學科方面:英文(要識讀、寫、聽),普通話(讀、聽),數學(基本加減數、數量、容量),常識(日常生活、節日、國家人物等),邏輯推理(e.g:BB→少年→青年→成年→老年),還需要給小朋友做一點家務(知道分工合作),德育(禮貌、分享、尊重),習慣(閱讀睇書)等等........
希望我小小心得可以幫到忙嗱!
