I agree that CAIS has advantage with the Christian background that kids might have good character under the atmosphere of love, caring….
For RC, I would like to share that Yes, they are very free in terms of uniform, hair, study mode…..but I have different opinion about the comment “not too many discipline guideline need to be followed”. I would describe that they interpret discipline guideline as proper social manner. The school always teach the kids respect, responsibility, helping each other, contribution…….
The following example is about teaching Year 1 to handle conflict among themselves:
They use traffic light colour code:
When having arguing, stop, walk away and think: do you still want to talk each other?!
Green = If the answer is yes, go to talk each other again. Or if you don’t want to talk again, find another friend to help.
Yellow = If friends even could not help to settle, find an adult to help.
Red = If you think it is really serious, find your own class teacher.
