small world, woodland and rightmind

we just moved back to HK, was thinking to send my 2 y o son to the pn school.

any idea for the kindergarten of small world, woodland and rightmind.

Have visited both small world and right mind. Totally different schools. Small world is more child centred and focus on child's dev while rightmind is flash card using to make children memorise words. My child has been in woodland. Don't want to disclose to much here but is is totally disappointing.
Suggest you go and visit by yourself

其實都有聽過佢地有好多野要收但$4000+ books 都有聽過呢間幾谷的

4k books fee for one term is really too much!!

Any other comments apart from unreasonable school related costs? Do you think they teach well and you kid is more disciplined?

The RMK campus is in the basement of a residential building with not many windows or natural lights.

Very depressing withpoor air ventilation.

Tiny campus with no outdoor playground at all.

South Horizons.
Yes, my child studied there before but soon left.

Thanks for sharing.  Did your child leave that school becoz of the poor environment?  Or due to some other reasons?
My daughter has PN offers from RM, Creative and MASS, so thinking if i should place deposit...

My child kept having nightmares and fever in the first month after school started.
Apparently the teachers there were too pushy.
My child's nightmares and fever stopped after leaving.

Don't worry, it's a true blessing in disguise.

The RMK was not suitable for my child, glad that we made the decision of leaving immediately.

My child got in a much more relaxing kindy and a very good international primary after.

Would you mind sharing which kindy and intl school your child went to in the end? Curious as I'm also considering Rightmind for PN. Thanks.

Did you place deposit at rightmind at the end?
I also have PN offer and am undetermined so just placed deposit first as it is close to my home which is important for 2-year-old kid.

Yes I put down a deposit as well. Have a few more interviews coming up so let's see how it goes. Rightmind is actually quite far for me but I've heard good things about the school, especially for PN.

Can you share what are the good points?
Do we need to teach our kid cantonese at home as they only learn eng and pth in school?

Also the school is very commercial.. and not sure the impact of flashcards/memory type of learning to young kids is good or bad..
