DMS：小兒曾入讀由DMS同一管理層主辦，在銅鑼灣的Little Montessorian中心的playgroup/Casa班，老師非常好，但老師自己對DMS的評價都很有保留（包括在愉景灣的小學）。今年4月時LM結束，小兒被安排到DMS學校上課，因為不是DMS幼稚園生，感覺除了原本的老師外，其他DMS教職員對我們這些「非本校生」愛理不理；可能他們已經不想再開Playgroup/Casa班，讓學生自然流失，但我跟另外一位家長都感到不受尊重。小兒因暑假及升小一關係，已經安排退學。

ICMS：數年前曾參觀校舍，當時給我的感覺已很商業化（例：未有學位要排waiting list，但要求我付一個月學費$4xxxx作排位費）。而我的契仔剛完成一年PN，好朋友說師資是可以接受的，但校長及行政方面就不敢恭維，相當商業化，處處向錢看。契仔已考其他學校K1，所以已退學。（如果想知詳情，可pm我）

雖然以上comment都不是直接關於教學問題，但我自己都會把學校的行政管理及風氣放在考慮之列。若你希望小朋友接受蒙教，建議報考IMS，正統之餘又有小學back up。希望小小意見對你有用。

My child currently goes to DMS having joined last year at the beginning of the school year in casa.

I find the school to be very authentically montessori and class teachers to be knowledgeable and caring.

My interactions with other teachers (and school staff) have been positive as well. I've seen children join halfway through a term or year and I don't see them being treated any differently.

I have to say though, I take an active role in my interactions with the teachers (because being a first time parent, I want to know as much as possible about what goes on in school!)

It may be that you feel you've been slighted because you are not as familiar with the environment and people (who you've already developed a relationship with ) as you were at Little Montessorian. I think this is true in all schools, there's always a period of adjustment and one way to overcome that is to have an open dialogue with the teachers and get involved in school activities.

As to the difference between DMS & ICMS.. We got offers to both schools. But ultimately chose DMS as the teachers are more experienced, it has a strong Chinese program and the school is committed to Chinese learning and it has much brighter premises, a bigger playground and better playground equipment.

which campus of dms did you go?  Is the chinese program in traditional chinese?  thx

Central and yes the Chinese is in traditional Chinese, and it's not easy in my view :)

DMS is a great school.  The teachers are experienced, well qualified and caring. They are open for communication.  The school admin is also very flexible and helpful.
