Just keep on 'knocking door' to La Salle.  Don't give up!

As I understand from some parents gathering that at least 3 boys are holding both seats at La Salle and DBSPD.  Mothers of 2 boys said they would re-consider their decisions after summer holiday.  Therefore even though you are unable to open the door this time, you may still have chance in September.  Just continue to 'knock'

Thank you for your encouragement.

I have one question which I think it is impossible to happen:
La Salle - subsized school which need to participate in the "Lucky Draw".

DBSPD - DSS.  If you choose to accept seat there, you have to sign an Undertaking that you will not participate the "Lucky Draw" - just like what my friend did.

Not sure what is the parents' "technique" of doing this?

Hi Ted,

Still it is not possible.  As soon as you register with DSS, just as I said they will give you an "Undertaking" to sign to surrender the seat allocated in government or subsized school.  This is a clear message from EMB.

Are those parents your friends?  If yes, ask them to check with EMB for sure.  As soon as DSS has submitted your Undertaking to EMB, EMB will automatically withdraw your seat at government or subsized school you registered WITHOUT any notification to parents.

Anyway, thank you very much for your caring.

BTW, forget already.  Are your boy in La Salle this year in P1?  Is there any test for class allocation or it will be advised in August Parents Meeting?

How can I hold seats at La Salle & DBSPD at the same time?

My son and one of his classmate have knocked for the 3rd round.  As far as I know, there hasn't any news yet.
Actually, my friend's son has luckily allocated into La Salle.  She has attend the parent meeting with the Principal Pau.  The principal said it's really tough and hard in P1, its a traditional school.  Their readers is the same as SFA, but seems to be different color level.
The school only said they will advise the reply by using our previously submitted envelope around or starting from Mid July.  So Let's wait together !

Congratulation.

I don't understand why you can participate into the "Lucky Draw" and also accept by DBSPD as this is a DSS.  You need to sign an "Undertaking" to DBSPD and they will submit such information to EMB.  Is it because of the timing of accepting your child?

My child is under waitlist DBSPD and now "knock door" at La Salle.

Forget, what kindergarten your child in?  Is he a "Honour" student?

What other awards or achievement your child has?
Can you share please.

我個仔是根德園的,我在第一和第二round都是選La Salle的,因他是第二個仔,所以第一round不夠分,第二round在part A 我放她在第一選.
