It is very easy to get in this school. I will say you can still participate the central allocation first, since they are having several times for interview. One is before the central allociation and at least 2 times after the result of central allociation. My daughter's classmate has gone through the process just this year.
If my memory serve me well, last year the interview take about 20-30 mins. The interview is not too difficult. But since it is a private school, a lot of children will apply but obviously not all will join eventually. So after the first round, it still a good chance to be admitted.
