Yes, my princess is P3 now and she is doing well. I like TSL in many ways.
-a truely language rich environment: ~20% non-chinese students in each class, all students and teachers have to speak English in class. Chinese stream students can choose to take either french or japanese as a third language.
-balancing of school life: reasonable homework, many extra-curriculum activities, school teams and school events, sure your kids can find their own talent.
-Chinese curriculum: follow the local syllabus, start using mandarin to teach chinese in P2.
-PE: boys and girls will take turn to have swimming classes in every alternative week, you will be amazed how P1 students can get change and have shower at school.
-school support: Enrichment class for top students and remedial class for the bottoms.
I'm not trying to say TSL is better than YW, I just want to share how a TSL parent see TSL.
Again, good luck. |
