小朋友3月初學游泳, 暖水池, 需要保暖泳衣嗎?

就算夏天, 我都會比件俘暖泳衣個仔著O係泳衣面.  因為落水唔凍但上水O個下就凍.  上次有個同學仔就因為上水O個下凍打左個冷震就冷親.  佢媽咪即刻叫我幫佢仔買件保暖衣, 著埋至岩岩好.

Can u give us some "sum-duck" on choosing 保暖衣?  Do u mean those made with "foam" (thick but light) or the very thin ones like skin?  Vest or short-sleeves???  Sorry I am an idiot on this!

我買個仔o個件保暖衣係"錯有錯著".  當時因為趕住用唔得閒去department store買, 是是但但行過花園街檔他有就買左件$100.  佢o個隻係背心型, 厚身, 而褲襠位仲有一塊用magic tapes 貼住背心腳.  

點知落左水至知平野都有好野.  因為上水時候有o個塊跨褲襠既tape, 個仔個身一抽起都唔會令到成件背心chic起.  反觀見其仔著d有牌子既, 佢地一上水就成件背心抽起.  而檔仔嬸嬸又幾好, 叫我唔好貪大件買大一個碼, 因為一鬆身就失去保暖功能, 寧願一年一件.

我囡囡都係暖水池學游水, 原先都怕佢凍, 想買保暖泳衣.  
不過佢話d池水似溫泉水咁熱, 咁我見佢游到面都紅晒, 應該都唔凍卦 .

最近佢件一件頭泳衣不合穿, 我又買唔番一件頭, 要著2件頭的, 打出個大肚dum, 佢都話ok, 唔凍wow .

囡囡在2003年10月開始學游水，那年買有一件有牌子的保暖衣給她，一年後便不能用，所以沒有再買。她現在穿的是沒有牌子的防曬泳衣，但我感到她泳池內非常暖(包括更衣室)

I keep letting my chiildren to continue their swimming lesson once a week, even when the weather is only 9'C.  

They swim in an indoor pool, which provides warm water to students there.  My little boy (4.5yrs old, elementary stage) just wears a very thin (long sleeve) warmer suit.  My girl doesn't need to wear any warmer suit, as she needs to swim full hour w/o stop, therefore she has enough exercise to keep her body warm.

Last weekend, I could feel the water was very warm since I saw some 'steam' raised up from the pool water.  My children told me that they enjoyed a lot from their "hot spring" lesson

It is not that cold for your kid to swim indoor pool during winter/spring season as you think, don't worry

Same for us.  The water is kept at 25C all year round.  It is okay if we keep our body immersed in the water but the parts above water level still feel cold, esp. if we stay there for an hour.  So we bought the thermal swimming suit for our girl anyway.  She is just learning how to kick water and a large trunk of her body is above water level.  

We were in a hurry and bought in the first shop available - Jusco at $350.  Two days later we found out that Gigasports was selling Speedo thermal suits at $28x, with 15% discount.

成個檔都係賣泳衣泳褲同保暖泳衣, 唔難搵.

Some experience for sharing : don't wear ultra-violet proof long sleeves swimsuit under the thermal suit.  It is very stuffy.  The thin long sleeves suit seems like sticking onto the skin and the child cannot breath easily.  Boys may wear pants only and girls ordinary swimsuits under the thermal one.  The thermal suit should not be too large.  If too large, the water comes in & out and the child may still feel cold.  Or the child may feel the suit is dragging him when swimming.
