有冇 K2 小朋友要學'珠心算'

我仔仔和另外2個同學仔報了名學'珠心算', details as follows :-

學校 :  天平兒童基礎教育中心
地點 :  荃灣愉景新城
時間 :  every Friday 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
　　　　（其他時間課室full 咗）　
Fee  :  HKD400 per month

如有媽咪有興趣，可以ｐｍ 我，大家一齊組班，有８個
學生就可以早ｄ開班．

At first, I enrolled this class in 天平兒童基礎教育中心 for
my son in mid of Feb.  However, they said all the class are full.  So, I send my son to study another
school called Smart Kids Workshop in 12/F of Nam Fung.  There are only 2-3 kids in a class.  I think it is
better to have over 10 students in a class like 天平兒童基礎教育中心, right ?  Is 天平兒童基礎教育中心  a good
school ?  天平兒童基礎教育中心  called me on Mar. 19,2005 said that the class is available on every Saturday at 2:30 - 3:30pm.  They asked me whether I still interested in this or not.  I still consider it.  Please give me some opinions.

I knew from their time-table that they will hold the class on Saturday 2:30 - 3:30 pm.  However, the time is not suitable for us (we have 3) and I asked for the alternative, i.e. Friday 6-7 pm.

"Is 天平兒童基礎教育中心 a good
school ? "   I have some comments from mons of BK, the answer is positive.  For my view of point, not only have the good comments but also the location is suitable for us.   

Your son is now studying at  Smart Kids Workshop, what's your comment ?  Pls sharing.

My son studied at Smart Kids Workshop for one month.  There are only 2 students including my son in the class.  I don't want too many students (over 10 students) in a class like 天平兒童基礎教育中心 because the teacher may not pay more attention to each student. I think Smart Kids can pay more attention to my son because there are only 2 students. Moreover, the location is more convenient for me than Discovery Park.  Have you enrolled in the class of 天平兒童基礎教育中心 for your son ?

Do you think Smart Kids Workshop is a professional ?
Is your son enjoy it ?

I hope I can choose a good 珠心算 school for my boy.

And also, can you tell me the phone no. of Smart Kids ?

I'm not sure Smart Kids Workshop is professional or not but my son seems enjoy it. The teacher only teach 1-2 kids in the class, so I think she will pay more attention to the kids.

Thanks for your info.

My little boy has to go to 香港兒童合唱團 every Saturday and also 跆拳道 & drawing class.  On Friday, he takes English lesson.  From April, swimming will be the new activities.  Actually, I hope he can join 珠心算 but my friend is now recommend me to join 公文數, what's your opinion ?

Hi Esther,

公文數 is for P3 students because it is difficult for K2 students. For K2 kids, it is better to learn 珠心算, right ?
Oh, your little boy has so many activities.  Does he enjoy all of them ?  By the way, where are you live & which kidergarten are your little boy study ?

The English class in Nam Fung is it good?  As I'm now seeking some English course for my daughter.  Could you pls tell me some info about it. e.g $ , native teacher or not? it's teaching phonic or something else?  Tks a lot for your sharing!

Hi Cecilia,

The English class in Nam Fung Centre is quite good. I enrolled this class in Oct. 2004 but wait for about 4 months to get the vacancy.  My son enjoys this class very much.  All the teachers are native speaker.
The school called English Funland in 12/F Nam Fung Centre. HK$ 600 for 4 lessons (each 1-1/2 hrs).
My son studied at British Council for 1 year before but I think English Funland is better than that because each class of English Funland is only 6 students but British Council is about 13 students in class.  The teacher may not pay more attention to each student.  Moreover, English Funland is near to my home.  So, I shift my son to study in English Funland in Feb.2005.  So far, it seems very good.
