St. Mary. I have the impressive on Marymount that they always think they are superior than others, but as per the annual public result, they are not so outstaanding.

Marymount is eng primary but St mary teaching medium is in chinese. Pls correct me if I am wrong. I live in Kln side too and I 'm very interested to know which one is better. Pls share your comments! Location is not my concern. Thanks!

Right. St. Mary's primary's main teaching medium is Chinese. However, St. Mary's secondary's teaching medium is English.

I think there's no problem for teaching medium in Chinese at primary level. Schools like Yaumati Catholic Primary Schools in same region also adopt teaching medium in Chinese and their secondary allocation is not bad.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Pls explain more their 教學方法? I heard that St mary is quite 傳统 and the 修女好似好惡? Since my girl is very talktative and active, it seems marymount 好似比較全面 & 活動教學D???

MM都係傳統咁坐...一班有成四十人.........不過功課真係好少

Hi bbqueen,

I knew very little of Marymount. St. Mary's primary is adopting 活動教學 from primary one to three at present. The 修女 Headmistress of St. Mary's is quite nice. Talking about "修女好似好惡", I heard that the discipline in Sacred Heart (HKI) and Good Hope is even stricter than St. Mary's. Anyway, if your daughter cannot adapt to strict discipline in class, then she may not be happy in those schools.

st mary's 每班只有32人
英文用小二書, 中文有2本是小二書, 但教科書是用小一
science 用英文書
其他都係用中文書
d 老師及修女好有愛心, 細心及好nice.

功課方面由於剛開學我都覺得好小同好簡單

聖心下午d肯定無st mary咁嚴............我女之前都未比人記名

其實修女一d都唔惡,只係個樣....佢地係自願做修女的......一定要有返咁上下愛心先可以做到架

Does anybody know whether St. Mary's school bus travel to HK side? Where are the stops? Any seatbelts?
Marymount is much nearer to me than St. Mary's. But for first round, I have 5 points more if I apply St. Mary's.

St. Mary's school bus have 12 routes (covering most of Kowloon region and even TKO, Ma On Shan, Tsing Yi and Tai Po) but they don't travel to HK side.

My daughter is now studying in Marymount. This is a good school more than I expected. Teachers are very nice and love children. My girl loves to go to school every day. They have not many homeworks. Most of them are teaching in English. I think both schools are very good. Pick any one is good. No worries!!!
