Wah Yan VS St. Joseph

My son belongs to net 12 and will join the "Lucky Draw" next year.  He is the younger son and only gets 10 marks, i.e. he must fail in the first discretionary stage.  Which school should I choose for him then in the lucky draw?  I know there are more places in St.Joseph, but it has its own kindergarten and somebody says usually all their kindergarten's students can finally admit to its primary school.

My elder son's situation is no better than yours though he gets 15 points.  It can reasonably be predicted that he is doomed to fail in the first round points allocation.

You have rightly described the 2nd round of the game being known as 'The Lucky Draw'.  As such, the result has already been determined by your God.

Notwithstanding there might possibly be a few number of places reserved by the principal of the primary school for admission of students on a discretionary basis, I do not believe the rumour that all students from St. Joseph KG will be admitted at the end of the day.

我都係12net, 本來都係想摶華仁, 不過諗諗下唔敢摶, d位少st.jo 成 2/3, 都係揀番st.jo好似機會大過華仁, 都有考慮過佢地自己kinder既學生, 不過都摶番st.jop...

Yes, I moved into Net 12 from other district recently in order to 'buy a Lucky Draw ticket' ; the school I have chosen is St. Joseph.

Actually, Hennessy Road Government Primary School is one of my favourite schools in this net, but I have NO CHOICE since my kid is a son that I must choose a boys' school.  The reason has been stated in details in my response under the topic titled as "灣仔區學校網" in this discussion area ([size=medium]See Here).

My dream schools had always been DPS and La Salle in Net 41, and I had been considering to move into that net for years.  However, due to the latest development/change in status of DPS (as a result of the birth of DBSPD), I could predict that most boys' parents in Net 41 would place La Salle as their 1st choice when playing the lucky draw game, and this significantly reduces the chance of success.  As such, I finally decided not to move into Net 41 but Net 12 two months ago (sorry that my son will then competes with yours!).

我個仔都係細仔, 讀k1時我老公已好想佢讀St. Joseph kindergarten(我自己就冇所為), 但佢要收足4yrs及只有k2, 咁就退而求其次讀玫瑰崗, 諗住都係天主教學校, 第時k2先考返過去. 但讀到k2時, 見個仔剛適應到學校同同學, 又懶冇再考返過去. 到而家報P1時咪比佢日or夜or話我上年唔幫個仔考返過去, 攪到機會低左. :evil:  :evil: 跟住谷鬼氣叫佢自己交form, 交完form返黎先知P1-P3得下午校, 衰衰咁話不如讀返玫瑰崗(因為係全日校, 不過係私校呢!),    因為讀全日就唔駛佢阿爸(我老爺)咁辛苦喎!
