I just checked with my friend, her son attended the interview on Tuesday.  

Three pairs of parent and applicant will go to a waiting room, you can read books or play toys while waiting.  After a while, you will be called to the principal's room.  There are two chairs outside the prinicpal's room for parent to sit.  While parent are waiting outside, the applicant will go inside and take a sit on the sofa(L shape).  The principal will ask you some general questions like your name, which school are you from, etc.  Then she will ask you to pick one book out of a pile.  While you are reading the book, she will ask you some questions regarding the book.  The interview with the principal will only last for 5-8 minutes.  (For those who already attended the interview, please correct me if what I heard is not right, Thanks!)

Ha, the kids have to read books. May I ask whether they have to read chinese or english story book???If chinese, there will be a problem. I think my son will have to guess the meaning from the pictures only....

I didn't ask my friend if the books are Chinese or English, you remind me, I better ask her tonight. However, from what I heard from her is that the boy is not required to read out the book word by word, just take a look for a while and she will ask some questions regarding the character or picture on the book.

Oh I see.... That's much better.... I thought they have to read out the story books. That's much much better..... But anyway, I just got the message from one of the parent who had attended the interview on this week.. She said that a pile of story books for them to choose are Chinese....However, it just only take 5 minutes exactly. So, it really depends on the 1st 5 minutes approach....and her own adjustment from the kid's profile....
