Marymount P.5 parents, please share!

Hi parents, if you have daughter studying in Marymount in P.5 , please share with me your thoughts here.

I am currently doing revisions for the test this week and next.  Apparently, numerous homework are given daily too!

Hi OldSim,

Nice to meet you!  I believe your girl is now in P.1C.  Before my daughter was also is this class with Mrs. Chow however she has retired now. That was the last year we all had classes at the old address Tai Hang Road.  Missed that building so much!

Anyway, due to my incapability to write in Chinese, hope you don't mind reading my message in English, I can read Chinese though.

In order to be more 'diligent' at school.  You must be well-prepared for the next day.  Always read all lessons to her daily after homework, plus additional exercises must be given at her level or higher.  Try to let her read out stories in Lit.  to enhance better oral test in the future.  Go for some book stores to get interesting story books (English/Chinese).

I am not too good on this but always do our best for better results.  Preparation is very important!!

What kind of supplementary exercises do you suggest?

Hi OldSim,

It's great to share something together, as a matter of fact, I am just wondering why there are no P.5 parents yet for this topic.  I'm sure there are lots who wish to share but didn't bother to do so.

Anyway, the kind of supplementary exercies which I usually use are:
1. Revisions Math (Times Publishing HK Ltd),you can get 1A & 1B, these are very useful for daily exercise.   
2. English Grammar and Language Usage (Success Publications PTE Ltd.) - to build up grammar.
3. Chinese - translated sound: "Tung Yat" tests exercises and "Weekly Chinese Fundamental exerices (Longman).

I do not prefer to give much exercises for there are lots of homework and quizzes already.
