協恩幼稚園升協恩小學的機會有幾多?

I know Heep Yunn Primary School is an aided school with the method of luck draw to enter there. But what is the chance of the Heep Yunn Kindergarten students promted to primary school if they are so unlucky without admission ticket by 自行收生 and luck draw? Is the Primary School Principal willing to accept all girls without the luck at her discretion?

I will take my girl to attend the kindergarten interview next week but since she is born at the end of 2002 and just eligible to apply this year. If she is lucky to be accepted by Heep Yunn Kindergarten, then she needs to 'repeat' K1, is it worthwhile to repeat her for a 'unknown chance' to Heep Yunn Primary School? (I think Heep Yunn Primary is good and I want my daughter to study there in the future!)

I really hope current Heep Yunn parents can give me some information.

I have just checked 06-07明報升小選校全攻略, it is reported that the minimum score in 自行收生 last year is 10, is it true? That means the girl without any additional score can also be admitted? Or it is a printing error in the magazine? I have this doubt because I think Heep Yuun is popular and many parents said it is a good school!

I have learnt that some BK friends are Heep Yunn parents or relatives, could you please advise on the topic if you have any information.

I am a HY Kindergarten girl's mom.  For the first round, only those students have 20 marks can get in.  For sure, some have that mark will fail.  So, if your girl has only 15 marks, there should be no chance at all in the first round.

According to the school's statistic this year, half of the K3 students (2004-2005) can study in its P1 (2005-2006).  This figure includes 3 rounds admission.

As far as I know, there is some student like your girl, repeating K1.  Then that particular girl will be the big girl in class.  In some cases, there are small girls as well, say born in Nov and Dec of the eligible year.

I have also heart that the Primary School Principal may not take the HY kindergarten students even they applied HY but failed in the first 2 rounds P1 admission because of their 'average' academic performance. She prefers someone with excellent acamedic/music performance in the 3rd round. Is it true?

I have a friend's girl who's now in P.2 of HY.  She was studying in HY since K2.  She could not get any seat during the lucky draw coz low marks (1st round) and did not have the address to apply HY primary (2nd round) as well.  But her girl is a really smart girl, "琴, 祺, 書, 畫" 都掂, also was no. 1 in class all the time.  So finally, she was called by the previous principal at around end Jun (last year) and informed her her girl was accepted by HY primary.  She said it seems like "中六合彩"  She said there might be just serveral seats for who are outstanding.  She dare to try and transfer her girl to HY since K2 coz she has big confident on her girl.  

That's all I know.

I think not just only HY primary.  All primary schools would pick those excellent students in the knocking door round.   Another consideration is connection with those decision-making/influential persons.
