這是一所私校, 故若有小朋友獲該校錄取的話, 對他們在自行收生的結果, 是不受影響的。而在2005-6的統計中, 聖若望是100%升英中的。這當然還要看看該校在其他的方面的發展。

Dear all,
SJC is a high standard English School.
課程 -- 英文讀高一班,英數大約高半班至一班,中文差不多，有Phonic,Science and Geog.etc......
校風 -- 好。始終是小班教學，一班約24人，學校地方少，大家玩埋一齊，唔壞得去邊，多數都非常有禮斯文。
師資 -- 有外籍老師，其他老師都好nice。
派位程況 -- 舊年好似有90%以上派英中，再唔係嘅過隔離CIA (美國國際學校)實收。
學校特色 -- 地方細，好多係直上。程度高，直上嘅無咁辛苦。傳統教學，谷谷地啦，睇你在唔在乎分數，除咗123名外，其他無名次。我的小朋友很喜歡上學，老師說的全部都當聖旨。

Thank very much for sharing the information!

Do you know the Secondary school distribution of those P6 students last year? I cannot collect these information from School website.

BTW, would you please share - Are your kid study in SJC Kindergarten section before he/she move to Primary Section? In what level now?

Dear LeeHoMa,
小六派去邊？我都唔係好清楚，淨係知多數英中(學校通訊)，但有Good Hope & La Salle，大多九龍塘，因為大多坐車走，好少會見到家長的，除非同車站或旅行才見到，所以所知不多。
我仔仔是K3生，但我們在小學部上堂的。今年如派得唔好，會留在SJC小一，唔使考可直上，又唔使再適應轉變嘛。

我哋唔駛註冊的，又不須考入學試，我們可以直上，學校都未叫我哋交留位費，可能遲d啦，可能睇死我哋走唔遠掛，應該第一階段派位後至通知。我無考喎，有小學backup唔考啦，費是煩，SJC係好學校嚟咖。

My daughter studied K1 in this school. I found out that they got a lot of books and the school bag is SUPER HEAVY for a 3 years old kid.
They have quite a lot of english reading. So far my girl can still handle it.

我相信每個家長都應該要先了解自己仔女性格後才幫他捫選擇學校.
我大仔就讀Kentville,於是我亦都幫我小女考此校,結果亦收了.但是回心一想,我女女性格比仔仔活躍,開朗及獨立-鬼妹仔性格.故此我覺得一般傳統教學会不大適合小女就讀.
當我去完St. Johannes interview後,發現老師好nice-smile on their face, friendly.英語為主，當日的小學義工亦相當有礼貌-校風好. Thats the reason I choice this school for my girl.
My kid was in K1 this year, I cannot tell rather I will let her to go in St. Johannes primary yet. I need more time to do research on this school. Will let you know later.
And Kentville is good for my son, because he have patient to seat still on the chair.
Therefore the main thing is to understand your child before choosing a suitable school for them.
