To show that you are interested, better write it by yourself.  It is easy to notify if a "knock door" letter is copied from someone else.  If the School knows it, the chance of getting in = 0.  The school will not like a kid of copycat to get in their school.  At most a kid of copycat can grow up a better copycat, then still a copycat.

Sorry to say that.  But honestly, I would choose to write the letter on my own; everyone has a story to tell the headteacher and to appeal to him / her, right?

I believed all the sample letters you got from BK, the other mammies also can get them.  Plus it is not tailor made for you kid. So, these kind of sample letters are just for references only.   It is better to ask your friends or relatives who is good in english to hlep you to write it.
