因為之後用返張＂正咭＂（我老公張信用卡）落單，無otp，我老公人在香港，又落到單

如果係香港的credit card, 可能要打上銀行講返咭主係英國，因銀行可能怕被盜用所以咁。

已經打咗去銀行，銀行話佢張附屬咭無問題。
另外，我女用同一張附屬咭係其他網站買野，又買到喎！
我女已經問過Amazon ，但Amazon 又無答我女發生乜野問題

咁奇怪？我女都係用附屬卡，無聽過佢喺英國用有問題，無論實體定網店。我地無同過銀行講卡主會離開香港。

唯一一次係佢喺飛機上想用但用唔到，無為意。到我收到信用卡公司通知有單交易唔成功，仲以為佢張卡比人盜用，因為嗰個時間呀女係坐緊飛機。 原來卡公司覺得可疑所以無批到個交易。

如果銀行話張卡無問題，你女又喺其他店用到，只有問Amazon 發生咩事，佢唔答你都無辦法。試下用另一張買啦......

其實登記amazon嘅billing address時，要跟信用咭月結單地址填寫，而shipping address就係收貨地址，戶口可以隨時加入不同收貨人名字、地址及聯絡電話，因為amazon係用地址驗証張咭的。

可能係咁喎！因為我唔知個女點填Amazon 的資料，等老公同佢傾下先。

應該係張卡地址唔同地址，唔少機構都要你 billing 同 shipping address 一樣，所以我特登開 paypal，避開麻煩。我以前 laundry service 係咁，搞黎搞去都入唔到錢，原來唔可以用香港 billing address。

I know Amazon doesn’t ask for OTP. This is called 3D security. They haven’t turned on this function as it is an international shopping site and accepts cards from different countries. Some countries do not hv OTP requirements. However in Hk, HKMA requires all card issuing banks to activate OTP . If merchants don’t require that, in case if your card information is being stolen and be used, merchants run the  risk of charge back if the victims lodge disputes .
In your case, it is most likely your card issuing bank has activated some security measures to avoid your card being used fraudulently. Some indications of fraudulent activities are purchases being made in high frequency at peculiar time.
It is ultimately card issuer to decide whether they allow such transactions to proceed.
You might ask how credit card issuer allows the transaction to pass through without OTP. If merchants don’t turn on 3D security, they would reference to other parameters like exact billing address.

In fact local issuing bank without global presence like Hang Seng would always block transactions they see as suspicious . You can switch to global banks like Citibank .

I know that there are many more fraudulent activities in recent months amidst the pandemic . There are more and moreglobal syndicated scams. Better be cautious when using credit cards making online purchases. Always check the statements. The transactions could be of low values like few thousands (hk$) only to avoid suspicion from card issuing banks.
