Read from books & also tried by a friend's son that you can: 
 
1.  tailor made a 'heavy blanket' for him. Use beans and fix a portion of that in many small grids so that the beans won't slip to one side. 
 
2. Plenty of exercise. Must go for Occupation Therapy.
