It's difficult to say as the number of students per class would change year after year.
However, there are ways to know their maximum allow seats per class.
For DSS schools, the EDB guideline is the maximum is 32-37 per class.
For private schools, there are no restrictions (and this is why you will find some private schools have class size over 40).
There is another way to know how many students are allow in a class, it is to check the allowable students per physical classroom. You can find this information in EDB database:
http://www.edb.gov.hk/index.aspx?nodeID=510&langno=2
You can type in the school name and search. In the individual school page, look for "批准課室/宿舍容額資料".
For example, this is the information of APS:
http://www.edb.gov.hk/index.aspx ... p;scrn=133442000123
Hope this is useful for you.
