Is your daughter being admitted 聖羅撒小學 P.1 - 2005. How much points does she? What is the kindergarten for her?

My daughter is studying K1 in  聖羅撒. Would you please share some information with me, thanks.

My daughter is just studying K.2 currently (not at  聖羅撒) but I am just planning for P.1 as this school is one of my dream school and my home address falls on this school net.  Do you have any comment on this primary school?

我女兒就讀 St Rose P.1,  最初都有困難,  功課多又要求嚴格. 尤其是中文字真係寫來寫去都錯.  而家適應咗加上我覺得功課少咗,  放心好多.   

我女剛剛今日話比我聽dictation 100分, 我好開心.  因為小朋友成日錯 d 大細草, 標點, 連日期, 標題都可以漏, 今次係第一次100分 !   

我諗St Rose 不是最好,  但是我的1st choice.  最適合我的要求.  個署理校長好nice, 我個女都係口甘話.  我見佢係門口送小朋友放學.  好客氣.  

有冇 P.1 家長係到吖!

Can you please let me know whether they use english or chinese as the teaching media and are the books all in Chinese (except english)?

They use English as teaching media for English subject only,  Chinese for the rest.   And they do have English Oral Exam.  If you prefer English as teaching media, you should choose Maryknoll.

My niece is studying in St. Rose Secondary School.   I was told her school mates from St. Rose Primary are generally above average in English subject.  So I am not too worry on their English level.

Thanks for your sharing, my daughter will also study in P.1 next year.

I know a few of the primary school parents and secondary parents and their comment on both schools are good. My friend's daughter just been admitted to Hong Kong University this year.

For secondary school, it only takes 3-5 mins walk from 第一城站 (馬鐵火車站) to the school.

My office is near St Rose secondary, so I know that 校風 is still good, their English pronounication is accurate.  

If you look at the secondary school web, both the passing rate of HKCEE (100% passing in Chinese, English & Maths), & HKAL and the percentage to uniiversities are still very high.

St Rose primary is my first choice in the first round and if my daughter is good enough, I will not have to worry her for her primary & secondary school. :

My sister & her husband had been (just 1 time) to St. Rose Secondary school to 'watch' for the girls after school.   That time their daughter is not yet start school yet.   See nowadays how parents are planning !  Ha, ha..   I was told their uniform are tidy,  they are all gentle, well behaved !  Whatelse then I need ? 校風好, of course the acadamic level cannot be bad..  So I am very possible stick on the same secondary school as well.

Several of my family members are being enrolled to St. Rose (Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary)  & we all like that.  If a school is generally having positive comments,  I feel it can't be wrong.  

For traffic,  they have school bus even for secondary school girl,  so that should be okey no matter where you live.   

Now whenever I feel upset with my daughter's homework,  I always threat her not to let her to school.   She surely feels very scared & become co-operate to work quick on homework.

Wish your daughter enjoy school life in St. Rose !

Nice to meet you here.  你有冇覺得經過家長日後減少了功課 ?  中文以前是密密麻麻, 而家改咗隔位.  仲有係中文筆劃要求嚴格, 我成日都要破解個字點解比老師圈起當錯字.

我都適應了小學生活啦 !

聖羅撒小學 唔會搬去沙田.
以前基堤道校址太細,  不能同時夠小學.中學課室,
所以中學先要搬去沙田.  

照我知, 去年小六有很多人都跟入沙田. 反正有校車.
中一每班超額 幾個人.

我就係鍾意d 傳统學校, 因為自已要返工, 學校嚴d, 小朋友學壞機會都低d 同時 Academic會谷到上.   我個女默書是 hungry, angry, library, toilet...
有個friend個女小四先默呢d 字.  個亞媽英國讀 U, 話工作忙比個女'是彈'讀一間學校一樣喎 !  聽到我個女P1都學呢d字, 而家話有少少後悔.

我唔想放得太鬆, 收唔番.

我以為有家長話功課多, 所以先少咗d.
溫習我只係幫個女默書,  其他乜都冇做過. 你個女好醒,唔駛你粗心.  我有時都好勞氣, 個女成日唔記得執齊drawer内全部功課簿返屋企.

我個女都係由幼稚園直上, 同學校, 同同學仔比較易適應.  大半班都係幼稚園上.

我都唔係成日上嚟口架, 有人同我傾咪上多d !
