有問題--關於鋼琴+violin

Play the violin need the good ear!
If your girl play the piano, it is very a good foundation for listen the tune of the strings.
many childs start to play the violin at 5 years old even they don't have to play the piano, so let her try!

有朋友個囡在 K3 已學 violin，之後升上P.1 朋友個囡要求學 piano, 每天大概用2個鐘頭練習2項樂器

Piano Vs violin
piano need to read the treble clef and the bass clef+keyboard control,
violin read the treble clef + the bow control
and many childs like to play the violin more than the piano  (I don't know why?)  they said it is much more fun! so don't worry

Dear Charlotte_mom,
I think you can let your daughter try the violin as well because she already has a music foundation.
If the school emphasizes the wish for the children to perform in the orchestra, then, violin is definitely a plus because the school needs a large number of children in the string practice. She will enjoy the teamwork and fun with her peers.
Don't give up piano.  The only concern you need is whether your daughter has enough time to practise both musical instruments everyday. Both need adequate time to practise if you want her to achieve good results.

I think time is the important thing to consider. But otherwise it is a good idea for your girl to learn violin. She can always choose between the two music instrument if school work is too busy in the future. In my opinion, nothing can replace the great joy in playing in orchestra where you can learn to share music.

I agree that it is pleasurable to share music with friends in an orchestra.

In my view, time should not be a barrier. At young age, we may not know where our children's potential lies. Therefore, it is advisable to open up their horizon. If we do not place high expectation on their achievement, we need not ask them to spend hours on the instruments. Anyway, children learn fast and they will progress on their own pace.

When they grow older, they will know what to choose.

邊間學violin好 唔一定要名校 最緊要d ms nice同教得好 因為我想學又唔知邊o度好 最好d學費初級around 400-600/4堂倒啦~~ 最好係ms教 因為女仔同女仔比較好d
