生活認知,  I agree, but for a 2.5 year old????

we are talking about K1 interview.  not Primary 1.

Some 2.5 year olds can't even control their bowel movements!  

I would agree that a 5 year old should know how raw rice turns into cooked rice and there is something earth called a rice cooker, but I don't think a 2.5 year old has the intellect to understand the complex concepts of how an electrical rice cooker works.

I think fair questions would be like How did you commute here? Expected answers like : taking the bus, MTR, Taxi...etc.

其實唔係要個小朋友講科學物理，只需簡單答「用飯煲煮」，兩歲半知唔出奇喎。男仔講嘢可能差D，但女仔如果識應該可以表達到。如果家長覺得咁樣問不合理，我唸同學校理念唔同喇。舊年我個囡俾問「月曆」名稱同用途，佢識但無答，我反而好欣賞間學校咁著重生活常識喎，好過我個囡去第二間龍問佢ABC

我個女in K1時知米要煲熟變飯，但佢唔識counting, 只識分兩、三隻顏色，A to Z應該認唔曬！其實認知題只要同佢講過下，佢会記住，反而counting, colours, ABC教極都唔識！

非常認同。生活常識大部人認為不重要，小朋友講左未必明而沒有同小朋友"分享＂。我女從小起我已告訴他身邊的事物用途。佢知筆是用來寫字的，key 是用來開門的等。有一日我地同教會神父簽文件，神父見佢冇所事事，俾佐條key佢，問佢知不知用來做什麼，他便說開門，神父話如果我係校長我一定收你，佢個時23個月大。我見有的家長說學校問key,hanger的用途，說咁深未教小朋友，我真係個時才知有人覺得深。
