ESF English Language Course

I am thinking to register my son for the summer term English course by ESF(English School Foundation), any comment about this course as a friend of mine thinks that the course can't help to improve English proficiency. Thanks.

My kid enrolled 2 years ago for the summer term and then the following term.  They invited parents to come for open day session and I could see that the teacher was quite conscious to ask the kids to speak in English.  The course content was interesting too.  

In the second term, the teacher responsible was a Chinese.  I found that a lot of teachers, judging from their last names and accent, are not quite "English" origin.  I find the accent of those teachers in British Council much better.  But the latter course is pretty easy especially for those kids already speaking English at home and British Council won't let you join a higher grade.  

Seems not worthwhile to me and we did not enrol anymore.

My kid will join the Easter day camp organised by YMCA.  I hope it's good but anyway not too expensive (around HKD1000.- for 3 FULL days).
