i have let my son tried Melissa Kong trial class as well, staff and teachers are very good.

My girl attended Melissa Kong School of Ballet starting from Dec 2005.  I found the teachers and Ms. Kong are nice to the kids and the fees are not expensive.

Though some parents may comment their classroom routines are not strict enought such as you don't have to fix your hair properly, the ballet dress can be of different styles, ...

But I'm OK with that as my girl is willing to continue her classes and the location is convenient to me.

Melissa Kong School of Ballet doesn't have a web site.  Here's the telephone no. : 2894 9238 and Address: 8/F, Park Avenue Tower, 5 Moreton Terrace, Causeway Bay.

The school is just beside Central Library.  You can visit the library with your kid before or after class, a very good activity.

I saw there were quite a lot of Japanese kids learning ballet there.  So, I think the quality of the school should not be too low.

The dancing room has a lot of windows so parents can watch the kids dancing during class.  I enjoy watching my girl dancing.

You can phone the school up and ask for a trial class.  The school is friendly and they once told me that your kid can take the trial class until you found her ready for dancing.  They are not pushy at all.

The fee is comparatively low.  Around $110 per class (45 min).  One drawback is that they don't have regular performances.  If you like on-stage performances, this is not that kind of school.

I just phone Melissa Kong and they replied that my daughter may be too small (she just 2 yrs old), so we need to take the trial class later la! But their fee is very reasonable le!
