小兒將會2007九月入讀小一﹐現正頭痛替他入學面試準備﹐坊間有些聲稱名校面試班﹐大家有無參加過？有用嗎？有無好介紹呀？

It is better don't take the course, they all concerning how to make "quick" money.
Use more time to improving the common knowledge is the most improtant way for the band 1 school interview.

My son joined these kinds of training course, but I think it's not so useful.  It's better to talk to him more and read more books instead.

Below was only my experience:
I let my son t join those kind of lesson for 7 months, and I spent more then HKD 12000.00.

They teach my son something that really difficult-the question not suppose to answer by a 5 year old boy.

I bought my son to 6 interview for the private school. And all of them are only playing games, telling a story, answering question (what is your name, what you want to be when you grow up and why?, 4+5=.)

Therefore I think you only need to do is: is reading book with them and telling story with them as many as possible. Let them have at lease one story in mind, just in case teacher ask him/her to tell a story. But must be in very good structure. And also teacher will ask what did you learn from the story?!

I think it will be enough.

Yes, no use and waste money at all to join this kind of interview course. What they taught is just no any use for interview.

Clementmanny's suggest is good. I quited the interview course after joining for few months and trained my daughter myself. She was admitted by 5 of the private schools this year. That prove it's not a necessity to study this kind of rubbish course.
