learning Mandarin - private tutor or playgroup?

my son is 3 yrs & 9 mo old now.  I'm thinking of private tutor or playgroup, which is better for him to learn mandarin?

pls share.

My daughter is 3 yrs 3 months, when she had a one-on-one mandarin trial lesson recently, although she managed to sit down & repeat after the teacher, she feel so bored. In fact, she went to mandarin playgroup before and she enjoyed it a lot. But for a private session, I don't think I'll try until she gets older.

yes, I agree, too.  Playgroups will be better for a young child!  As playgroup will teach u some mandarin songs, play games in mandarin, etc, so that your kid will learn to listen mandarin and get used to a mandarin environment.  Then when he / she gets older, he / she can learn mandarin in a class / private lesson easily!  That's my thought!
