韓國2手鋼琴用左3年,$3500 應唔應該購買呢?因本人想購買一個2手鋼琴給小朋友學,但我一點都不知如何選擇,請給我意見.

我哋喺美國主修音樂。喺美國讀書時，我地一班同學都會講吓鋼琴。我亦聽過不少韓國琴的故事，我教授的朋友買了一個韓國 Samick 三角琴，好平，啲聲十分靚，佢朋友好開心，兩三個月之後，佢話，It sounds terrible. 我亦彈個一部三角琴，是Young Chang廠。佢既Touching十分有問題，過深同過緊，長遠對練琴者有影嚮。總之，韓國琴避之則吉。其實，中國琴都唔差，起碼Touching同歐洲，日本琴較相似, in terms of the key size, depth。令外，菲律賓琴都是麻麻。

My daughter also learning piano.  I think for your son you should buy a cheaper one maybe better.  If your son is interest in piano learning after 2 years then you can buy a new piano for him otherwise don't waste too much money on the beginning.  This is the paino teacher tell me in her experience.  Moreover,  choosing piano is very objective cos everyone requirment is different so choose the one which you feel good is OK.

Just wanna few more words. If you really wanna buy that Korean piano. You have to check if there is any crack on the soundboard, it's the main problem for the used piano. Also, you can play each note on the piano and listen carefully to check if there is any strange sound. And, all keys should sound clearly. If any above symptom appear, you may not wanna buy the piano. It may have some structual problem, and these problems are expensive to get it fixed. Don't trust the sale representative in the music store, ask your friends or piano teacher to take a look if you are not sure. Hopefully, this information is useful for you.

多謝咁多位既意見,咁即係日本琴同歐洲會好d,係咪,咁有冇d$5000元既2手琴係yamaha 既日本琴呀,又唔係太殘,有就pm我啦!    唔該哂

It's true. A small crack, even a big crack on the soundboard won't affect the sound qualify. BUT, it has to be under certain conditions.
         
       "So long, in fact, as the structure of the soundboard re-mains solid, with ribs and bridges adhering correctly to the surface of the soundboard, and with the entire periphery rigidly fastened into the frame of the piano, the question of cracks is utterly unimportant."

However, crack can lossen the soundboard. Finally, the soundboard touches other part of the piano or itself and causes unbearable buzz.
