DSS Primary School

Recently, I found a interesting situation in Hong Kong.
More and more parents have been choosing the DSS primary schools for their kids.

The reasons for choosing the DSS primary schools more or less are:

1) The school is relatively less homework and exam.  So it is suitable for my son.

2) They promote happy learning.  Good for my kids.
My son wants to have fun all the time.  He feels bore and unhappy in those traditonal school.

3) My kids are too active.  They can't just sit in the classroom for the whole day.

4) You see.  He is more than happy than ever.  What a great shcool it is!!

Please understand that happy doesn't mean everything.  The begger sleeping on the street may feel happy.  The whores in Mong Kok may feel happy.  The thiefs in TST may feel happy.  The murders in jails may also feel happy.

Yes, your kids may enjoy 6 years happy school life. Then what???  His Math and Eng. are poor.  He likes to play all the time.  Once he faces the unhappy thing, he doesn't know how to handle since he is trained to be happy.  

In real life, it is very tough.  Our kids should be trained and educated to deal with this kind of situation in the future.  To certain extent, we need to push and stimulate them.   We have to put them on the right track.

Why there are many DSS shcools in the market promoting happy learning.  This is simply a marketing gimmicks.  You just those principles.  Who are from happy learning school????
How about Donald Tsang??  Lee Kok Cheung??  Victor Lee?? Richard Lee??? Are they from DSS school with happy learning???

Please accept the facts!!  It is hard but you have to.
Traditonal schools have long history.  They have proven track records.  

If you find your kids are not able to catch up with other ordinary kids' stanard or you are too busy and lazy to check their homework.  Go for DSS primary school.  They are your right choices.

But please give me a break!!  Don't act like a addict and shout " It is good for my son blah blah blah..."
That is not good for son.  Instead, that is only good for you.
