My daughter had grade 2 exam 2 years before. I think it is easy to pass but you need to pay attention in the scale and sight reading, in order to achieve merit or distinction.

How old is most suitable to learn Cello?  Any requirements?

My daughter has cello lesson in school, (once a week) but the teacher is not good. I found a private tutor for her last month. ($400/45min) The teacher is quite OK now.

Hi all,

My girl starts to learn cello when she was 6, now she is 9 and just pass her grade 5 exam. My private tutor is HKD 260 per session ( 45mins ).
