My son is grade six right now. In his own opinion, the teachers are nice and good, but they really mind the students chatting. Grade 1 to 4 will not have groupings yet, until grade 5. Actually, my son thinks the school is not really 很谷, or many homework to do, they won't assign much holiday homework, it is just how the child feels. Music lessons are teached in school, as a part of the lessons, no fee for it, so don't be too worried.

音樂堂: 每個循環週有一堂音樂課.   

你的問題, 是否想知學樂器是否很貴？學生揀定老師揀學那種樂器？
學樂器的費用是另計的, 及是在課堂以外的時間學的.   

小兒在校內的小組(5人)學樂器(費用除開了, 大慨700-800/月). 如果你的小組是2 / 3 / 4 人, 費用相對會高些的.  但是, 我聽高年級的家長說, 一般小二會轉1:1的學, 到時學費會貴些.......

現在逢星期六回校上堂.  有些同學是在平日放學後, 留校上堂的, 視乎學校的時間編排.   

學生揀定老師揀學那種樂器?

在迎新日, 所有樂器老師會在該日回校,按學生的條件去選學生. 聽說, 唇薄的, 會被挑去吹管樂.........學校亦允許你跟校外的的樂器老師學習, 不過, 應該是要學宣小樂團有的樂器吧...........(這個請其他家長確認).  

另外, 綱琴是不計的.

My son is in P2 now, so far we are happy with the school, only except the relative small campus. In general teachers are good. For musical instrument , he has 1:5 lessons I'm P1, and then we chose to change to 1:1 in P2 and he has better progress. School doesn't push hard on this though all kids have to learn one instruments, the kids enjoy indeed especially they are very proud to be selected to the school team.
