好似講左好幾年了,但上及下午校都未有落實任何搬校計劃,如大家都留同一CAMPUS,無可能轉全日了.

The AM section will stay in the current campus for sure. EDB will not allocate new campus for private schools.

For the PM section, it is the one which has been dealing with EDB on changing to full day. But now with less than 10 schools still on half day, I wonder how hard EDB will push for it.

Why is it not fair?

Both schools are sharing the same campus together. It is only because PM section is gov't aided so EDB is responsible to find them another campus if they are indeed moving. AM section is privately managed so EDB is not responsible.

The terrible thing is if the schools choose to change to whole day without moving, then it will mean there will be 3 classes being cut each year which will mean 100 students less per year who can study here.

In fact, many parents here prefer half-day schools over full day (I am one of them) so it is one of the reasons we pick this school. Hope you can understand it better.

我幫大女選KINDER時,都堅持要全日(我是WORKING MUM,又不想女兒有半日一對一對住工人).
到了現在K2, 生理上不太需要午睡了,女兒每天回家都投訴在校的下午時間變得很無聊,
結果,我要將她變回上午班上課,將之前課後的活動全改去午飯後進行!
所以,細女報KINDER,我亦改變了STRATEGY,幫她報半日了!

其實返半日有好處！
回家吃飯和休息總比在學校吃飯和"休息"好…其實返全日的，下午上堂教的不多，都係做下功課，玩下，係學校玩黎玩去都去個d…天氣熱時，大個d嘅小朋友就唔願郁，成日坐係樹涼冷氣…有d到功課堂時又唔珍惜有老師教嘅時間，走去做d抄寫野，寧願放學補習至做唔識做果d…補埋習回家已7點…太辛苦了，又唔efficent又唔productive....
上了一個上午堂，能回家吃飯，輕鬆一下，玩下自己鍾意嘅玩具，唔nap的就上下自己鍾意的課外活動堂，再做功課或補習，人都醒目d!
整天都呆在學校，日日都routine做同一樣野，個腦都諗唔到野啦！
