Class Position vs Form Position

My son is a P1 student. In Term 3, He is ranked 1st in his Class but just 1X in the Form. A big deviation like that didn't happen in Terms 1 and 2.
Just curious if this happens very often. I'm happy with my son's performance but don't understand why his class is not as good as others in this Term.

Your son is so smart with such a good performance. My son will study at SFA p1 in september too. I would like to learn from you. Can you share how you helped your son to prepare for p1? what do you do you to help him so he has performed so outstanding? Many Tks.

第三學期大执位执得好厉害，有小朋友由第一、二個term的全级20左右上升至頭5位。

無論如何，小一生學習情况還未稳定呢，大家一起努力吧。

Only results in P5 and P6 are meaningful. No need to give them too much pressure at lower forms.

If you want to apply DSS schools or LS, P4 academic performance is important too.
