Thanks God, he got the place and studies very happily in this school.

I think the Principal is concerned about the part of answering question in the interview.  Because I heard two girls with siblings in the school failed last year and their mother had asked  the Principal the reasons behind. She said the kids cannot finish and answer all questions well.

For my kid, he answered some related questions after the Secondary School Principal told him a story from a book. The questions were quite indirect and needed to think.
Also, they stress on politeness and tidiness very much. The Principal in the 2nd interview praised him so disciplined all over the time (I trained him keeping still before the interview).

Hope your kid get a place too!

We also haven't received the letters.  Heard from a friend (whose son has attended the interview) that the first batch seems to be all Christians or have relationships, and then according to date of birth.  That seems to reflect some kind of preference.  So the chance of my sons is really slim (not Christians and born in Sep) unless there is a miracle  

Anyway, good luck to the others.

call the school to check when your child has the interview, everyone should have one.  I think the first interview should be last up to 23-24/10.

I submitted the form on last day but I interviewed already on 2 Oct.   I have a friend who submitted the form on last day and interviewed on 2 Oct as well.  For your information pls.

Dear all my girl had an interview yesterday, she told me that she was invited to read some books and play card games with teacher. Later she waited around ten minutes and than talked with a teacher. She told me the teacher told her a story and then ask her some questions. My girl insists the teacher interview her but not the principle. It is because the teacher is so young and wear sptacles.

I wonder whether those interviewed by the principle or the headmistress have a better chance? Do they short list the candidates or select the one who perform better before they reach the room of principle? My daughter was interviewed by the lady. I am very disappointed.

No, 信內不會列明是否由校長in.   不過, 我相信不是每一個小朋友都由校長in, 校長都會有唔得閒的時候, 無可能全部in哂.

finally I got the interview letter today, No.14xx on 22 Oct; luckily it doesn't crash DGS interview on 23 Oct my girl needs to skip consecutively 2 school days gosh! will have tons of homeworks to follow!

the letter was written in chinese (?!) "請依照下列之日期...到本校面見小學校長..."

all, may I ask if parents are being interviewed or 打量 by the time being wellcome by the principal???  doubt if this is ok for just my hubby to bring my girl to attend the interview!  Any advice?

好奇問下，你個no. 14xx 前面有冇英文字架？我的 no. 是 B2xx。

我囡囡今日都唔係校長見，她只見了40分鐘，今日好少人，有啲叫名都冇到，有啲早到40分鐘都可即刻入去見。啲小朋友都著得好causal，有個女仔著Ｔ裇牛仔裙襯tight pant。可能係因為係星期六，泊架車在校門外都ok(但我冇)，冇阻塞、冇抄牌，但一架的士都冇，我哋等咗好耐先有車，好彩有帶遮！去既時候的士叔叔都唔識南風徑係邊。

I don't think it does matter if both parents go to the interview because the parents only wait outside with all other parents. However, I know the lady or the principle ask the children who brought you here and how do you come here? Well, then it may matter.
I was also told the parents of the first batch dressed almost like going to the ball. I presume those are the important group and high chance batch. We have to face the reality.

校長曾在ＢＲＩＥＦＩＮＧ時講過，一定會有一關係由她或副校長親自接見。
的確有不名聞傳說，話係非校長見的機會較低，當然校長ＩＮ都唔係一定得，因太多人面試而學位得１５０總數。

i've got the interview letter today 18 Oct.....anyone haven't got the letter on next friday .... you should call the school

i submited last day, and it mentioned to bring the snack & water for the kid.  And it mentioned that interviewed by principle.....and don't drive (take public transit)
