今朝收到電話有得2nd IN, 佢地仲打緊電話, 我個#係18XX, 真係失望裡的驚喜!

Here is the differences I observed on these two particular boys, please do not steroetype the two camps.

My boy and the potential DBS boy are in K3 in different classes in the same Kowloon Tong Kindergarten.

In K2 my boy gets Excellent grades in ALL aspects of Chinese, Englsh and Maths and VGs in all others. The potential boy also has good grades. Academically, both are very strong.

My boy - address others as he wishes unless I insist
Potential DBS Boy - address others as instructed.

My boy - facial expression goes along with mood
Potential DBS Boy - steady throughout our interaction

My boy - like to play with kids and sometimes avoids adults
Potential DBS Boy - like to interact with adult. When my boy invites him to play, he refused.

From the above, it is not difficult to predict the potential DBS Boy wil have better "performance" at interviews!!

I already gave up any hope on DBS.

BTW, I believe we all know these facts when we get the 1st interview notice.
1. over 2,200 application;
2. 1900+ applicant will be disappointed at this round;
3. another 150 applicants will be dispointed when the final result was announced.
4. THE EARTH WILL STILL REVOLVE AROUND THE SUN.

I will pray for all of us! And I truly believe that God will arrange the best for all of us.

算唔算折磨?

我交表時，仲有幾個鐘8號風球，又大雨，加上我們由中學個邊入，所以濕曬。仲要在playground等先可以入課室... 再係課室等多一個鐘。

Interview果日，好似所有家長一樣在學校門外暴曬一個鐘，仲要好似傻瓜般著佐老西。

依家日日等信/call...

all because demand is much more than supply for this kind of schools. (Economics theory)

Look at the Metro newpapers today, there are som any people with relationship with the schools. If no relationship, pray for miracle.

唔算好折磨咖啦, dgjs仲衰呀, 當初交表果時, 完全無講過有2nd in, 更加無講過2nd in既安排, 就算有得2nd in, 都無follow up call, 而家dbs起碼寄信之餘都有個follow up call, 唔怕寄失信而錯過機會啦

我等dgjs既信, 足足等左個幾星期, 最後只係收到一封信話"application is in progress"

Received no call today...and no letter yet...need to rush back home...

application no. 18xx, got phone call at 10:30am but have not received letter yet.

Headteacher told my friend that they will continue to make phone calls tomorrow. More are coming, no worries.

Called the school already and staff confirmed with me that they sent out ALL THE LETTERS last week! No matter you receive a call or not, no letter means OUT!
