Hi this is Nicole's mother... reading scheme books have to put in school bag everyday. They are suppose to read them on Thursday.

my son studies in nursery class, i remember that those reading books were brought back to school only on thursday last year, but i am not so sure the practice for this year!

Hi! Dear all mami,
My girl studies in GC2 and I've confirmed from school that only bring on friday except there is function. e.g. Birthday party on friday then bring the books on thursday.

like this week, Miss Ma had already read the Chinese story book with Nicole yesterday.

i will just keep the reading scheme in her school bag everyday since it is not that heavy.... what a lazy mother.

We are not going this time. Nicole has Primary 1 interview on that day. Too bad, it will be her last year school picnic in HKPS. [quote]

My daughter started in HKPS since playgroup. Once I wanted her to go to St.Catherine instead (because of the reputation). However, after seeing the campus there and number of students per school year, I changed my mind right away. Except that St. Catherine is located in KT and has been opened since 197x... I don't see other benefit that the school can provide to my daughter. On the other hand, the teachers and aunties in HKPS are so nice and caring. Also, the school provides a lot of activities and extra curriculum to their students (of course, some of them you have to pay for). Plus, it is still closer to our home (Ma On Shan).

There isn't too much homework. In upper class, normally there is only 1 per day, except on Friday, there are about 3. I doubt there is that much for lower classes.

I don't think there is any test week in HKPS, at least didn't happen in our Nursery and Lower classes. Not yet know about Upper class.
