剛收到學校註冊通知信, 其中有關Music Orientation o既日子原來有錯誤, 文中所寫11 & 12號, 實為4 & 5號至o岩! 學校話稍後會o係網上通知有關修正! 各位請留意!

聽講Music Orientation(o係廣利道)會介紹樂器, 等小朋友對各種樂器有認識, 然後協助佢o地去選擇!
另外6月21號要返學校(天后)辦理開學手續, 有個short seminar會講school arrangement, 校車安排, 訂書同埋校服, 申請學費自動轉賬...

I'd got the letter last week.
Shall my son go with me on 21/6 ?  I am afraid he will feel boring, and actually he has some activities on that day as well.

我個仔果日都有活動, 本來都想唔帶佢去, 但如果要訂埋校服, 唔帶佢去又驚買唔o岩size! 而且都想帶佢再望清楚間學校, 等佢有個印象, 知道將會讀o既學校環境係點都好!
我都希望當日見到大家! 話唔定, 大家可能係同班同學o添!

We should go to Kwong Lee Rd on 21/6, but our son will attend Y1 at Tin Hau ?!
Anyway, I think it is really good to go with my son if possible.

We finally got the letter today, thanks !

Yes, June 21 in Tin Hau, while July 04 & 05 at Kwong Lee Rd.

Since the "authorized tailor who will be present at the 'New Parents Meeting and Music Orientation'", i'll bring my boy for the Music Orientation only.

Also, we can "make an appointment for tailoring services after the 21st June 2008"

Sorry, I read the letter again, and learned that I really made a big mistake.
Thanks for your reminder.
You see, sometime it's really confusing for those 'separated campus'.  Hope that the new campus would be ready on schedule (but I still can only see a construction site till now).

I'll also arrange school bus for my son.  I hope that it will not be a long journey la !!  
I learned from other threads that there are different brand names for schoolbag, such as Dr. KONG, SPI, ZEVEN, LEGO etc.  My son said he wanted to have LEGO, but I don't know where to buy.
I think the school uniform is quite smart - blue shirt + white pant + white shoes.  However the white shoes will become grey shoes easily - at least I expect my son will do so.  How can have a good maintenance ?
Another thing I concern is 'lunch box'.  I think I'll prepare lunch box for my son.  I am looking for a thermos lunch box in good quality.  Any suggestion?

如果妳想買Lego書包(http://www.golddouble.hk/schi/index.html), 可以去新世界中心或一田之類百貨公司睇o下! 我本身不太喜歡Lego個設計, 雖然佢真係好輕, 價錢亦合理, 但書包面o既魔術貼好易黏貼到外套之類, 而且我個仔個膊窄, 兩條背帶好易缷落o黎! 所以妳最好帶埋佢&搵d重o野放落去試!
講到白鞋, 我個仔肯定唔夠一個星期將對鞋踢到花晒&踩到黑晒! 我都想知點護理好!
至於帶飯, 我都有諗過, 但又驚佢帶埋個飯壼會好重! 曾經聽BK媽咪講, 如果想保溫耐d, 最好買3層果d, 最底果個放熱水, keep warm好d! 另外亦有媽咪話買個保溫袋載住, 都可以保溫耐d! 妳可以考慮o下!

St. Cat & 學之園每年都有咁多畢業生, 中產家長又多, 語言方面又教得唔錯, 所以考CKY o既人數必定多, 所以就會令人覺得CKY比較多來自呢兩所幼稚園!
我認為收生主要睇interview, 讀邊間幼稚園唔係主要因素!

Thanks for your information, esp. the LEGO website.  My son like Knight's Kingdom series, so he prefers LEGO school bag.  Of course, it is better to let my son try it on, and I'll also concern the problem which you reminded.
For lunch, it's a BIG concern for me, because my son has poor appetite and eating habit all along.  Therefore I think it'll be more easy to control him, if I can prepare lunch box for him.  I hope he'll have improvement in eating habit under peers influence la !

I agree with HeiHeiMa.  
I think the most important thing is your kid's quality and parents' expectation.  CKY tended to choose outgoing and energetic kids, with better master on English.  I consider CKY also screens for 'suitable parents' who share same vision with the school.
Don't bother which KG your kid from.  Just let him/her try the best, if you really showed interest in CKY.  I believe that your kid can 'feel' this school in interview.  If he/she likes the school, he/she will has ease performance.
My experience is - Ease is the best !

Seems reasonable, there are many many kids graduated from St. Cat & L.H. every year. Hope my boy can get a seat in the next year.

By the way, the interview for kids & parents in full English or Cantonese ?  What about the questions ?

According to my son, he spoke in both English and Cantonese in different rooms in 1st interview.  He could not recall the questions exactly, but he said the process was very happy and finally also got candy.  In 2nd interview, he was interviewed in English only.
